First up is Frantzén, an ambient and cozy venue run by chef Björn Frantzén in Stockholm, Sweden. Although it has only 171 total reviews — far fewer than elsewhere on the top 15 list — 98.25 percent of them describe the restaurant as “excellent” or “very good.” Not that the rest of the list isn’t impressive as well. Although it technically ranks last, El Celler de Can Roca, located in Girona, Spain, received more than 95 percent positive reviews out of nearly 4,000.
If you’re trying to choose between a trip to Spain to visit Restaurante Martín Berasategui or a trip to Germany to try Sven Elverfeld’s Aqua, a percentage value won’t help you: the two are tied at 96.12. But the number of reviews could help break this tie, as Berasategui has 1,830 restaurants, while Elverfeld has just 206.
And if you’re trying to choose a country based on the number of three-Michelin-starred places you can visit during your vacation, your best bet is France. Five of the top 15 cities are located there, with two (Epicure and Kei) in Paris alone.
