“What happened was that because of bets placed by legal betting companies, they picked up anomalous behavior around a particular game in March of ’23,” Silver told Amazon reporter Cassidy Hubbarth. “So that was brought to our attention by regulators and betting companies.” “We then looked into that situation and were very transparent about it, and even though there were those anomalous bets, we honestly couldn’t find anything.
