After being away for seven months Philadelphia EaglesBrandon Graham is itching to play again.

Graham, who spent all his 15 years NFL Career with the Eagles, according to multiple reports, is starting another one as he finalizes a deal to rejoin his old team. The Eagles are expected to make the move official on Wednesday.

Graham, a two-time Super Bowl champion in Philadelphia, was the longest-tenured player in Eagles history when he retired following the team’s Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

But, the Eagles face some depth issues on their defensive line, especially with Za’Darius Smith Surprisingly announcing his own retirement midway through the year, Philadelphia is calling on an old friend to help.

The Eagles have just 11 sacks in seven games, which is near the bottom of the league. Graham totaled 76.5 sacks and 487 total tackles in 206 regular-season games during his career. He totaled 126 tackles for loss and 153 quarterback hits in his record-setting game.

Graham not only brings experience, but natural leadership to a franchise he loves.

With Smith retired, the Eagles have placed Nolan Smith on injured reserve, while Jalen Carter has missed significant time with an injury. Aziz Ojulari is also suffering from a knee injury.

Graham said he will answer some questions on his “Brandon Graham Unlocked” podcast, including what he believes is the thinking behind his decision to return.

While this was the final Super Bowl-winning season for Graham at the time, he tore his triceps, which kept him out until the Super Bowl. He had 20 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 11 regular-season games before the injury last season.
