Christina Hack’s co-parenting success with Tarek El Moussa and Ant Anstead

Christina Hack She has figured out how to be friends with her two ex-husbands.

Hack, 42, opened up about her unconventional friendship with the two Tarek El Moussa and Ant Anstead as she navigates another messy divorce from her third husband.

“Really in a co-parenting situation everyone has to work that out,” she said people. “I have people text me all the time, ‘How did you do that? My husband’s ex hates me,’ or ‘I could never hang out with my ex.’

Hack has co-parented her children, Taylor and Brayden, with El Moussa, and she’s also integrated her new boyfriend, Chris LaRocca, into the mix. “It takes all of us, and right now there are four people in this situation — me, my boyfriend Chris, Tarek and Heather — and we all want to get along,” she explained. “We all work hard to make sure we all come together.”

HGTV star She noted that there is one thing that both she and El Moussa are naturally inclined to do.

“I’m really good at letting go of the past, and so is Tarek,” noted Hack, who was married to El Moussa from 2009 to 2018. “We can get over something in literally 5 seconds and never want to talk about it again.”

“So I think it’s just the maturity level and we put the kids first and then the rest is easy,” she added.

Haack believes that her split from her third ex-husband Josh Hall helped improve her relationship. Haack and Hall Filed their own divorce petitions in July 2024, each citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the dissolution of their marriage. They divorced in August.

After a rocky divorce from Anstead, with whom Hack shares a son, she finally found middle ground with the TV host. Anstead and Hack were married from 2018 to 2021.

“When Josh and I split up, Ant and I had an instant heart-to-heart and he said, ‘I want to co-parent Hudson. Like you and Tarek.’ Not exactly those words, but he said, ‘I want to have a great co-parenting relationship with you,'” she explained to the outlet.

After deciding to make a “fresh start,” the two have been spending time together with their son Hudson.

“We go to soccer. We sit next to each other at school. We have birthday parties together,” Hack said. “And thank God, because when I grow up, Hudson, I’ll be very sad if we don’t have those things.”

While unconventional, Hack said the team effort has allowed families to become closer than ever.

“I think my kids know that anybody can come here and we can have Christmas together and we can have parties together,” she said. “So it’s great for kids. It’s not weird at all. It’s wonderful.”
