Conor’s interior game Devin Haney’s troubles

Coach Malik Scott says Conor Benn would give Devin Haney a “trouble” with his internal game and punched.

Scott notes that Haney (33-0, 15 ko) is now gaining much in his battles. He says Benn (24-1, 14 ko) is “spentrous” closely.

It means Devin would not be able to rely on a jaw as his main defense line to neutralize Benn’s crime, as he did in his victory over the weight champion WBO Brian Norman Jr. last Saturday. Devin would be forced to fight a bead or move constantly.

“If Conor Benn boxed the way he did against Chris Eubank Jr. in any weight class, he could put trouble to anyone,” coach Malik Scott told the Insideringshow on XWhen asked for a head fighting Devin Haney. “Conor Benn is very spiteful on the inside. Devin Haney is grabbing a lot now, right?

Benn was next to the circle last Saturday night for Haney’s fight against Norman Jr. at Arena anb in Riyadh. After Devin won by a unanimous 12 -round resolution, Conor called him out. Interestingly, Haney and his father, Bill, showed no interest. That was surprising because the money he would get would fight a huge head. Not wanting to face it is a red flag for fans who are not confident he would win.

“He has his father’s spirit (Nigel Benn) when he fights. It’s bad. He’s spiteful. He can punch. He has an amazing quantity game,” Malik said about Conor.

Being able to punch a head, his hardness, and his aggression would make him difficult on Haney. He could be coming after him in an aggressive way he has not seen him since his loss to Ryan Garcia.

“Here’s another. He’s been on the stage before,” said Max Kellerman for Benn. “Norman, the sight of his face, he hasn’t been here before. Haney looked like he’s been there before. Conor Benn has fought in front of 50,000 people.”
