Denise Richards refuses to cash Charlie Sheen’s million dollar check

Dennis Richards Refused to cash a million dollar check from ex-husband Charlie Sheen.
The actress showed her Instagram followers the proof, sharing a photo of an uncashed check, tagging Sheen and belting out Pink Floyd’s “Money.”
The reality star wrote in her Instagram story: “Found this during my recent move. I never cashed it, @CharlieSheen. Is it still good?!”
The check was issued on December 24, 2011, five years after their divorce was finalized.

Her post comes just days after Sheen wrote her a check for a million dollars, which he claimed he cashed a month after she gave it to him, much to his surprise. KFC Radio Podcast.
Sheen did not specify when he wrote her the check, noting that he forgot whether it was during their marriage or after their divorce.
“Two and a Half Men” star She said it was a symbolic gift for her, probably for her birthday but can’t remember for sure.
Richards’ birthday is February 17 and the check she shared was dated December.
“I mean, I don’t think she’s going to be too crazy,” he said on his podcast, referring to Richards being upset that he told the story.
“I wrote Denise a check for a million dollars on her birthday as a joke, and she didn’t keep it as a joke,” Sheen, who has been sober for nearly eight years, explained.
“And then, a month later, the f—g cashed it,” he added. “Which stings more…”

Sheen, who said he probably would have cashed it in if he had, said: “She probably couldn’t let me know that day. ‘Oh, looks like you’re driving somewhere.’ ‘Yes, actually at the bank!’
He recalled feeling grateful that the check had not bounced.
Richards and Sheen married in 2002They split in March 2005 when she was six months pregnant with their second child, daughter Lola.

Despite a brief reconciliation five months after their separation, they went ahead with their divorce in 2006.
Their post-marriage relationship was controversial, with Sheen slandering her on Twitter and Richards suing him in 2016.

In 2020, Richards reflected on leaving Sheen while pregnant with their second child, during an episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”.
“When I got pregnant with Lola, things started to change rapidly. It was a very dark and very toxic time. And I filed for divorce from her when I was six months pregnant. I always did everything I could to hide Charlie’s behavior.”
Richards and Sheen are now on friendly terms.
Richards is also on good terms with Sheen’s third ex-wife Brooke Mueller, with whom he shares twins Max and Bob.
Richards is divorced from Aaron Phifers after six years of marriage.
The actress has accused Phippers of physical and emotional abuse throughout their marriage and provided the court with images of an alleged black eye she received after a fight with him.
last week, Phiper was arrested in court and charged with four counts: two counts of injuring a spouse and two counts of dissuading a witness by force or threat.

Richards previously testified that her estranged husband allegedly tried to destroy her reputation by leaking nude images of her, as well as claiming that he stole her computer with the intention of sharing “private” information and images with news outlets.
