Complaints about the six-story house at 80 Washington Place — referred to in the sprawling indictment Known as “Washington Place” — it was set up while one of two illegal casinos where prosecutors say mobsters cheated their gambling victims out of millions.

Records show the first call to 311 came around 3 a.m. on Jan. 16, 2021 for a crowd gathering on the sidewalk outside and a similar complaint about loud talking in the street was made just four days later at 2:28 a.m.

That’s when the sound level apparently rose in the house and drowned out the sleeping neighborhood with a deafening noise in the middle of the night.

Over the next 20 months, the city recorded 311 complaints, almost all of them for excessive noise or parties inside the house and on the street outside.

The first of those complaints were made at 11:30pm – with some suggesting the partying may have continued until 7am.

Parties appeared to be almost constant through May 2021, when 11 noise complaints were recorded.

Neighbors reported drug use outside the home, trash strewn on the sidewalk outside, and, oddly enough, homeless encampments were set up outside.

The scene calmed down in January 2023 and remained so until October of that year, by which time federal investigators estimate they had dismantled the illegal gambling network from the home.

It is not clear whether the rowdy and hardened alleged criminals were disturbed by their behaviour.

The NYPD, which is fielded for most noise complaints, noted that it “responded to the complaint and took action to remedy the situation,” but could not immediately tell The Post whether that involved tickets or summonses, or just verbal warnings.

Other agencies, such as the Department of Homeless Services and the Department of Sanitation, had found no evidence of complaints by the time they responded — except for one report of a dead rat on the sidewalk, which sanitation workers cleaned up.
