Willie Robertson is keeping faith – and his late father’s legacy – alive on screen.

“I think it was a pass-over, literally, because when Phil passed away, the show came out … within days of each other,” Wiley told Fox News Digital exclusively.

“We certainly miss Phil and, of course, still love to talk to him and be around him. However, I think he’s ready to roll, he’s ready to move on to the next life, which he talked about, I think he thinks about every day of his life while he’s on this earth.”

Wiley said that even though filming without Phil Got emotionalHe believed his father would be proud of how the family carried the torch.

“It’s sad, but I think he’ll be happy,” Wiley said. “He’ll be glad we kept it going — especially as part of the show, the family believes. He might not have as many ducks as he’d like for this next generation, but we’re working on it.”

“We’ve definitely seen it before with our family, where a lot of people would come up to us and just say, ‘Thanks for putting it up,'” Wiley said. “Maybe we can’t all live with each other. We can’t all sit together and pray at the end of a meal. But we like to see it. It encourages us. And so I think in this time – I think it can be helpful.”

Wiley, who has served as the stable patriarch of the Robertson clan through publicity, criticism and comebacks, told Fox News Digital that their foundation is unchanged.

“Anchor is really our belief going back to the three things we started ‘Duck Dynasty’ with, which were faith, family and ducks — in that order,” he commented.

“What happens in life is things start to get ahead of the other. And so you look up, and maybe you’re like, ‘Oh, my faith is slipping a little bit.’

Wiley said putting faith first is always important to keep a family strong.

“We’ve noticed that it helps. As strong as our faith is, it helps keep our families together… When the family is together, whatever you’re doing at work can help,” he said.

That tight-knit dynamic, he added, doesn’t just play out behind closed doors — it’s visible to fans on screen, too.

“If not, you’ll definitely see it at work — you’ll see it, especially on a show like this,” Wiley explained. “If there was a problem at our house, you’d definitely see it on camera.”

“We knew from the beginning that this was something bigger than us. It wasn’t about you or me being famous. It was something bigger than us. And I think we prayed that around the dinner table when we did the show — and we didn’t do it for some because we planned it. We did it because this is what we do,” Corey said.

“We love to have dinner together as part of our family life. And we had this prayer that God used in a really powerful way.”
