Zohran Mamdanina’s long-awaited key endorsement in the New York City mayoral race
It took four months, but one of New York state’s top Democrats has finally endorsed New York City’s Democratic mayoral candidate. Johran Mamdani.
As Election Day approaches, New York Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, the top Democrat in the US House, on Friday announced his support for Mamdani, a 33-year-old Democratic Socialist state lawmaker from the New York City borough of Queens. Statement to the New York Times.
