Francisco Lindor’s season included his third surgery in four years, but he likely won’t waste time because of it.
The Mets shortstop recently underwent surgery to clean up his right elbow, according to the club.
He is expected to be ready for the start of spring training.
Lindor underwent offseason surgery two years ago to remove a bone spur from his right elbow.
Abroad before that he underwent an appendectomy.
On Wednesday, he was named a National League shortlisted finalist for a Silver Award.
He joins teammates Pete Alonso (first base) and Juan Soto (outfield) as silver finalists.
Lindor twice won the Silver Slugger Award with the Mets.
