Joe Torre knows how difficult it is to repeat the Dodgers’ World Series quest
TORONTO – Repeating as champion is no easy feat, or someone could have done it in 24 years.
“It’s not easy to do,” confirmed Joe Torre, the repeat champion’s recent head coach.
“You’re supposed to win once you prove it. … That’s the pressure. It wasn’t easy at all,” Torre told The Post at the world championships.
The Dodgers are trying to become the first team to win their second straight title since the Yankees won their third straight in 2000.
