
Kenny Loggins slams Trump for unauthorized use of ‘danger zone’ in AI video

Singer Kenny Loggins demanded his song be removed from the meme President Donald Trump Posted on Saturday.
In a statement Shared with Variety On Monday, the musician blasted Trump for using his track “Danger Zone” in an AI-generated post in which Trump dropped feces on “No Kings” protesters from an F-18 fighter jet.
“This is an unauthorized use of my performance of ‘Danger Zone.’ No one asked me for my permission, which I would have refused, and I request that my recording on this video be removed immediately,” Loggins said.

Loggins’ song was made famous by the film, “Top Gun,” Played throughout the clip. The artist lamented that his song became part of what he described as a divisive post.
“I can’t imagine why anyone should use their music or be associated with something that is created for the sole purpose of dividing us. There are too many people trying to tear us apart and we need to find new ways to come together,” he said. “We’re all Americans, and we’re all patriots. There’s no ‘us and them’ — not who we are, or what we should be. It’s all of us. We’re in this together, and I hope we can embrace music as a way to celebrate and bring everyone together.”

Sisson also commented on Trump’s meme, posting on X on Sunday: “Could a journalist please ask Trump why he posted an AI video of himself peeing on me from a fighter jet? That would be great, thanks.”
