The 4,154-piece set includes various creatures and plants, all of which can be brought to life by turning different dials and cranks. You can make coral sway, open a treasure chest, help a clown fish swim, or pull a crab out of an underwater cave. Other elements included include sea worms, snails, a pearlized oyster shell and air bubbles for a touch of realism.

The collection also gives a nod to two endangered landmarks in both the natural and man-made world. The first is the vibrant colors of the oceans, especially the colors of coral reefs, which are threatened by global warming, leading to bleaching. The other is physical play, allowing users to act as puppeteers and operators when experimenting with brick-built creatures.
