Own a piece of photography history thanks to Magnum Photos’ upcoming Square Print sale. MagnumThe famous photographic cooperative founded by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa and others, collaborated with slot For sale features the works of some of the most famous photographers. Selected by the artists themselves, the auction features everything from a James Dean portrait to a classic example of Steve McCurry’s street photography.

youths is the unifying theme of the collection, with the images capturing everything from famous celebrities in their prime to the joy of childhood. “This selection reminds us of our beginnings, and encapsulates how youth is not just an age in our lives but a state of mind,” Magnum said in a statement about the sale.

In a nod to Aperture’s work as a photography hub, the auction features photographers whose work has been published in historical and contemporary publications. Proceeds from the sale will not only go toward supporting the artists, but will also help with Aperture’s non-profit publishing and public programs around the world.

Starting at $110, 6″ x 6″ prints will be available via Magnum store From October 20th through October 26th, 2025. The images are currently available for preview, so interested buyers can check out over 100 stunning images that will be on display for one week only.
