The The Wall Street Journal The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is struggling to raise money during President Donald Trump’s second term.
The DNC tried to reach out to major donors through a San Francisco-based fundraiser earlier this year, but most declined, according to several people “familiar with the conversations.”

The Wall Street Journal reported that the DNC eventually found a donor to host the event but “raised less than organizers had hoped for.”
It added that this reaction, along with a significant reduction in funding, may be a response to frustration over Harris’ failed presidential campaign and lack of a new game plan for the midterm elections.
