Mass shooting at Lincoln University leaves at least 5 injured during Homecoming

A mass shooting broke out at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania during Homecoming on Saturday night, leaving at least five people injured, according to authorities and reports.
The shooting broke out just after 9 p.m. during a party held near the football field on the Chester County campus, about 50 miles west of Philadelphia. CBS News reported.
Police found at least five gunshot victims, who were taken to Christiana Hospital in various conditions. According to ABC 6 News.

“The Chester County Prosecutor’s Office is aware of the shooting that occurred at Lincoln University this evening with multiple victims,” Chester County Prosecutor’s Office he said in a Facebook post Around 10:30 p.m
“Law enforcement responded to the scene and are actively investigating. Please avoid the area at this time. Further updates will be issued as information is confirmed.”
It is unclear whether the suspect has been arrested.
The police have not yet released any information.

“Please join me in praying for the students and faculty of Lincoln University, as well as the brave members of law enforcement at the scene,” Chester County Commissioner Eric Rowe he wrote on Facebook.
“It looks like there was a mass shooting there tonight.”
