My MIL Rearranged My House While I Was at Work—So I Made My Own Move / Bright Side

When I married my husband, I knew his mother had “strong opinions,” but I never imagined she would treat our home like it was her personal project.
One afternoon, I came home from work and felt something off. Then I saw him –Everything It was different. My MIL spent the entire day inside our house, alone, rearranging my furniture, reorganizing my kitchen, getting rid of my stuff, Even replacing my curtains because my curtains were “down.”
When I asked her she said: “You should be grateful. I fixed it. The right wife makes things better.”
I turned to my husband, waiting for him to say something. He just shrugged:
“She was just trying to help.”
That night, I sat on the floor to eat, crying, because I couldn’t even find my plate anymore.
The next morning, I called the locksmith.
Days later, my MIL showed up, and her key didn’t work. I called angrily. I told her calmly:
“From now on, guests are knocking on the door.” I changed my attitude too.
My husband exploded.“You made her feel unwelcome!”
I answered, “You broke into my house. Finally making it our own.”
Now he barely talks to me. He says I “went too far.”
But I’m done being a visitor in my house.
