‘NYU communists’ vow Marxist revolution during ‘No Kings’ protest

First on Fox: An apparent group of New York University (NYU) student At the “No Kings” protest in New York City over the weekend, he handed out a communist newspaper and vowed to “overthrow capitalism” in social media posts, highlighting his participation in the event.

“Comrades from the NYU branch organized a communist contingent for the No Kings rally in Manhattan today, connecting with radical workers and youth sick of capitalist exploitation and ready to fight back,” the headline recalls their participation this past weekend. “No Kings” protest survived.

The group’s profile page features the song “Guillotine” by The Coup with lyrics that read: “We got the guillotine, you better ride” on the organization’s main social media platform.

Despite its name and appearance as a student-run chapter of the larger Revolutionary Communist Organization of America, “NYU Communists” is not officially affiliated with the university, a spokeswoman said.

“There is no registered or university-recognized group called NYU Communists, and we are not familiar with them,” NYU spokesman John Beckman told Fox News Digital.

Fox News Digital was given a copy of the October 2025 edition of “The Communist” by “Comrades” at an event titled: “The Billionaire There are enemies.”

“The Communist” is printed in traditional multicolored newspapers, with some color pages and a barcode attached to a sign-up sheet to join the Revolutionary Communists of America.

Fifteen pages of articles without author names follow the top story and include articles such as “Reserve Your Seat at Your Nearest Marxist School,” “Israel’s War on Truth,” and “Record 70% Now Believe the ‘American Dream’ Was a Lie.”

The paper asks for a $5 “solidarity” donation.

President Donald Trump signaled on Sunday that his administration would look into funding the protests across the country.

“I guess (the No King’s protest) was given by Soros and other radical leftist lunatics,” Trump told reporters Sunday night. “Looks like it, we’re checking it out.”
