Parker Blasts Ltd for Stop Wardley, he says he feels good
Joseph Parker (36-4, 24 Kos) says he disagreed with referee Howard Foster’s decision to stop his battle in the 11th round after he was hurt by a storm of shots by WBA Interim Heavyweight Champion Fabio Wardley (20-0-1, 19 KOS) in the O2 Arena in London.

Parker says he feels good
Parker requires him “Feel Right” Referee Foster currently suspended the match at 1:54 from round 11 after Wardley hurried. Currently the battle was suspended, Parker did not throw anything back, and he was trying to avoid punches when leaning against the ropes. If it were still firing back in the defense, it would probably have been a different story.
Parker says he wants to replay with Wardley, but that won’t happen at any time soon. Wardley will face Oleksander Usuk next for his undoubted heavyweight championship in 2026. If Fabio, 30, defeats usyk, a second game would be the most likely one to win. Parker needs to work his way back in contention to get a second split in Wardley.
“I still felt fine after the fighting ended. I’m not the one who is responsible for letting the battle progress or stopping it, ”Joseph Parker told Ifl TVreflects on his loss to Fabio Wardley on Saturday night. “He’s harder than I expected.”
Parker did not look badly hurt at the time of the stop. That wasn’t the real problem. The issue was that he pulled a lot of shots and made nothing on an offense to make Wardley back away.
When the referee Foster stopped the fight in the 11th, he pushed Parker angry. He wanted to continue, but the writing was already on the wall. Parker had been poorly hurt not only in Round 11, but in the 10th as well. It looked like he wouldn’t have escaped round 10 had it not been for the bell.
Calls for Wardley Rematch
“I felt I ruled the battleBut I was struck with a big punch and there we were. I still feel I have a lot to give. There’s no crying point about it. It’s not going to change anything. Let’s make a rematch. I would love to do it again, ”said Parker.
Joseph ruled the battle through round eight. From the ninth onwards, he was going downhill, taking a big punch from the younger, faster, and more energetic wardley. Rounds 9, 10, and 11 were bad for Parker. He had managed rounds 1 and 3 through 8. That was not enough against a knocking artist like Wardley, who carries his power late to his fights.
