The Society of Professional Photographers announces the winners of its 40th annual photo contest

Fortieth annual AOP Photography Awards They announced the winners. Recognizing professional ability, technical excellence and talent, the awards are a place for photographers of all levels. This year, 10 category winners and four special award winners were selected for their creative abilities.
The awards are open to all accredited photographers and AOP Certified Associate Photographers members, who submit their best work in a wide range of subjects. This competition takes place in conjunction with AOP Open AwardsIt is open to both amateur and professional photographers. Notable winners included Tom Parker, who won a special Best in Show (Personal) award for his intriguing portrait of a Mongolian connoisseur working her magic inside a restaurant. Meanwhile, James Day was chosen for Best in Show (Commissioned) for his clean look at the museum keeper.
“With huge thanks to our distinguished judges this year who undertook the impossible task of selecting the winners of the 40th AOP Photography Awards for such an auspicious occasion,” says Isabelle Duran, CEO of AOP. “Their selection has brought together an exciting and provocative mix of still and moving images that illustrate this unique personal perspective and how our photographers see the world around them. It’s even more poignant in the AI digital age we find ourselves in. I’m thrilled to see that such powerful visual storytelling still exists.”
