Rare earth reserves are in focus during US-China trade talks

Shares of several US-listed rare earth miners fell on Monday after US officials said China would delay the introduction of export controls on the critical mineral as part of a broader trade deal.

His comments came ahead of a high-level meeting between Chinese leader Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump on Thursday.
