The Best Items at Trader Joe’s, According to Customers

It’s time to find out what your opinions are Trader Joe’s items Live up to those audiences. Every year for the past 14 years, the company has surveyed customers about their sites Favorite products To determine which ones are the best in various categories.

This year, the question got asked — specifically, “If you were to spend the rest of your life on a deserted island, what nine Trader Joe’s products would you take with you?” – More than 18,000 answers. And it turns out, a lot of people spend their days munching on Trader Joe’s Chili Lime-flavored rolled corn tortilla chips. Not only did they earn a blue ribbon in the snack category (followed by their other corn offerings: Organic Cornflake Dippers, Regular Organic Cornflake Dippers, and World’s World White Cheddar Corn Puffs), but they also came in first place overall. Runner-up winners included hash browns, chicken soup dumplings, chocolate croissants, and everything special except the sesame baking spice mix.

Honeycrisp apples seem to have an active fan base among TJ’s shoppers: The fruit took second place in the produce category (topped by bananas), and the beverage title went to Sparkling Honeycrisp Apple Juice — the only seasonal offering to win a category.

And Trader Joe’s Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice, considered the best main dish of 2023, has saved many lazy gourmets the effort of cooking dinner. From scratch. TJ’s fans will no doubt notice the conspicuous absence of their beloved mandarin orange chicken from the list of top five entrees. Not because it has gone out of fashion: but because Trader Joe’s I decided to withdraw it from the Customers’ Choice Awards altogether, giving other items their chance in the spotlight. This product and many other long-time favorites have been rolled into the newly created product Trader Joe’s Products Hall of Fame.
