The Toronto Blue Jays win Los Angeles Dodgers 11-4 in Game 1 of the World Series on Friday night at Rogers Center.

The Dodgers took a 2-0 lead with runs in the second and third innings Toronto built it Dalton Varsho followed with a two-run homer in the fourth.

Then, the Blue Jays put the game away with a nine-run sixth inning, which included the first pinch-hit grand slam in World Series history by Toronto’s Addison Berger.

Then Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani hit his first career World Series home run in the seventh, but it was too late for the Dodgers.

Blue Jays fans cheered Ohtani ahead of the game. In the ninth inning, the Toronto crowd chanted “We don’t need him!” Shouting like this chanted in unison.
