The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 5-1 in Game 2 of the World Series on Saturday night to take the series at one game apiece. Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto Pitched a one-run complete game in a historic game for Los Angeles.
But all eyes were on the Dodgers superstar Shohei declines He was booed by the crowd in Game 1 at Rogers Center.

As the Blue Jays cruised to an 11-4 victory in Friday’s opener, the crowd chanted “We don’t need that!” Referring to Ohtani turning down a recruiting offer from the Blue Jays in the winter of 2023, when he instead joined the Dodgers.
Ohtani didn’t have a hit until the eighth inning Saturday, but it was huge as he helped the Dodgers rally from 3-1 to 5-1.

Ohtani’s fellow Japanese teammate Yoshinobu Yamamoto picked up the win and pitched a complete game for the second straight game. It was the first World Series complete game since Johnny Cueto in 2015. It is the first time since Curt Schilling in 2001 that a pitcher has thrown a complete game in back-to-back season games.
