The opportunity was there.
His agent has informed Zobi Ejiofor that if he chooses to test the waters of the NBA Draft, the draft invitation will be extended.
There was just one problem: Leaving college meant leaving Rick Pitino. He wasn’t ready to do that.
“Unfinished business, right?” The St. John’s star said Tuesday at Big East media day inside the park. “There’s still a level I can build on my game. I wanted to improve on the weaknesses I had last year. I wanted to leave college at the highest level possible.
