King, 21, was charged with additional charges Sunday, including arson, causing a catastrophe, conspiracy, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, tampering with evidence, recklessly endangering another person and receiving stolen property, authorities added.

Officials also read a statement on behalf of Scott’s family, who requested privacy while processing their daughter’s death.
“It is with deep sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved daughter, Kada Scott,” the family wrote.
“We ask for space and privacy at this time as we deal with the heartbreaking events of the past few weeks. Our hearts are broken, but we are so grateful for the outpouring of love, support and prayers from people across the country and around the world,” the Scott family said.
“Please continue in our prayers as we cope with this unimaginable loss.”
“Kada was much loved. Her light, kindness and beautiful spirit will remain in our hearts forever,” the family said, thanking officials for their “unity, leadership and love.”
