The Minnesota Vikings will start rookie Max Brosmer at quarterback Sunday in Seattle after JJ McCarthy’s practice time expires. Limited throughout the week Through the concussion protocol.
Coach Kevin O’Connell announced after practice on Friday that McCarthy will be out against the Seahawks. Journeyman John Wolford, who is on the practice squad, will be Brosmer’s replacement.

The Vikings listed left tackle Christian Darrisaw (foot) as questionable and reduced left guard Donovan Jackson (ankle) out against the Seahawks, whose defense ranks fourth in the league in fewest yards allowed and seventh in fewest points per game allowed.
“(Darrisaw) underwent some operations today and we will see how the doctors and medical team evaluate how he feels,” O’Connell said.
