These travel-ready foods have been known to fly off the shelves.
the eSIM service provider Holafly Keyword search volumes were analyzed nationally and by state to determine the most popular snacks available at airports.
Nationally, America’s favorite cookie took first place. Oreos received 113,380 searches nationwide, ranking it at number one.
Jack Link’s Beef Jerky and Cheetos Puffs took second and third place, respectively.
Cheetos Puffs’ hot and crunchy cousin, Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Crunchy, came in fourth, followed by Twizzlers to round out the top five.
Sour Patch Kids came in sixth place.
Meanwhile, the seventh most popular option differs from the rest of the top picks in that it’s not a traditional chip or candy option. A donut from Dunkin’ took the place.
Based on the Holafly map put together Delish got itNew Yorkers seem to prefer heading to Dunkin’ as soon as they get to the airport.
Rounding out the top 10 were Welch’s Fruit Snacks, Doritos Cool Ranch and Haribo Gummy Bears, respectively.
The least popular airport snack turned out to be Chobani Vanilla Yogurt with just 8,700 searches — even though it was the top choice in Massachusetts.
Although many of these options may not seem ideal for a morning snack, When you’re at the airport, anything goes.
