Wardley must finish Parker quickly or risk of fire
Chris Arnonomy says it is important that Fabio Wardley “finishes” WBO Interim Heavyweight Champion Joseph Parker by jumping on it if he gets it in trouble this Saturday, October 25.
Finish or have finished
The former heavyweight world title historer three times on Overall states that Parker’s anti-punch dissolution and his “muscle memory” allows him to return a fire to hurt Wardley (19-0-1, 8 KOS) If he does not go for the end immediately, he has stunned New Zealand with one of his powerful shots.
Parker-Hardley meets at the main 12-round event on Dazn PPV at the O2 Arena in London, England. Wardley will have his WBA interim heavyweight title on the line.
Parker (36-3, 24 ko) jeopardizes his mandatory title WBO shot against the Oleksandr Usyk champion by taking this battle. Joseph is next in the line as the compulsory. Therefore, it shows a lot of courage by fighting Fabio, who is a huge tyrant.
Former WBO Parker champion, 33, has won his last six contests after being cast out by Joe Joyce in the 11th round on September 24, 2022. Many fans stopped Parker after that loss, but has since overhaul his fighting style. He has turned into a defensive fighter, but mixes with strategic power punch to win his battles.
“Even if Wardley hurts him, how he can start exchange with him,” analyst Max Kellerman told Insideringshow For Saturday’s heavyweight battle between Fabio Wardley and Joseph Parker.
Wardley was left out by his last opponent, Justis Huni, on June 7, 2025. Things looked bleak in the 10th round for Fabio. In that round, Wardley released a large right hand that dropped the former Huni amateur standout flat on his back.
The fight was suspended after a hunger after getting back up. At the time of the stop, Wardley trained 89-82, 89-82 and another 88-83.
Wardley’s window of opportunity
“If he hurts him, he’s better to finish him,” Chris said about Wardley. “Parker has that muscle memory where he could easily anti-throne, hold a punch and put him back immediately.
“As I said, once Wardley dropped him, he’d better jump on him, but he’s better to do so smartly,” he said Arnonomy.
