‘You have promised me this battle’ ”
Arslanbek Makhmudov wants Anthony Joshua to keep his promise to fight him next, after he said he would beat Britain’s heavyweight Dave Allen.
Allen has paid the price in punishment
The big player achieved 6’5 1/2 ″ Makhmudov (21-2, 19 ko) at the end of the deal, defeating Allen by a unanimous 12-round decision on October 11th. It was a fight that should be suspended by Allen’s corner kick by the eleventh round, as he absorbed a lot of punishment of Makhmudov’s powerful shots.
AJ’s promise on the entry
“I’m waiting for you and ready for you,” said Arslanbek Makhmudov Sky Sports Boxing. “We have to fight to see this who can go to wait who can win.”
Fighting Joshua would give Makhmudov, 36 -year -old, a career -born career day, which could prepare him for financial life. It is understandable why he now presses Joshua to give him the fight he said.
“We already talked to me before the battle with AJ. Gave me a promise We’re going to fight if I win this battle with (Allen) he was going to fight me, ”said Makhmudov.
Those shots that Makhmudov Dave Allen struck with would be difficult for Joshua to resist them without hitting the deck once or twice if he challenged the next huge ‘lion’. Could Joshua, 36, take those punches? He is skeptical as he could.
“Listen, lads, after the battle, you’re going to love me, guys. You’re going to love me, guys,” said Arslanbek, sending a message to UK fans.
Olly Campbell’s view: Joshua’s silence speaks volumes
It would be a good idea for Makhmudov not to hold his wind waiting for Joshua to fight him. He had recently said that he would fight Daniel Dubois again to avenge his shot loss in the fifth round of September 21, 2024. He has not done so. What does that tell you? That suggests that Joshua is unreliable in keeping his word for fighting against someone.
AJ Champion Eddie Hearn has not mentioned who could be next for his “Run Out” fight in December. Choosing Arslanbek would require Hearn to have faith in Joshua because he would have to eat some heavy shots.
Makhmudov is not easy for anyone, not even the two heavy weights that recently blocked it, Guido Vianello and Agit Kabayel. Those fighters had to walk through a large punch to score stops of Makhmudov.

Since 2014, Olly Campbell has brought a clear perspective from the side of the ring to readers and a constant voice on the largest boxing evenings.
