Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said his chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, resigned after anti-corruption raids on his home.

Yermak, 54, has been Zelensky’s closest adviser throughout the war with Russia, but the corruption scandal has put him under increasing pressure – even though he has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies raided his apartment in Kiev’s government quarter early on Friday, and Yermak said on social media that there was “full cooperation from my side”.
